Help & FAQs
This page is just getting started. More guides and answers to common questions are on the way.
Pairing your sensor
- Charge your sensor. The light should be on when it's switched on.
- Keep it close to your phone, with Bluetooth turned on.
- Pick your sensor in the app. Not sure which is yours? Match the serial to the one printed on the card in the box.
- Tap Pair when iOS asks.
Can't see your sensor?
- Turn it off and on again, then keep it close to your phone.
- Power off any other sensors nearby. An older sensor can get in the way.
- Check Bluetooth is on: open Settings, then Bluetooth, and allow StrikeSense.
If pairing fails
Open your phone's Settings, then Bluetooth. Find StrikeSense in the list, tap it, and choose Forget This Device. Then try pairing again from the app.
Resetting your sensor
A reset clears the sensor's pairings so you can set it up fresh. Press the sensor's button five times, about once a second. Presses that come too quickly may not count, so keep a steady pace and keep going if nothing happens. The light confirms the reset and the sensor restarts.
After a reset, forget StrikeSense in your phone's Bluetooth settings (as above) before pairing again.
Sensor firmware
The StrikeSense app needs sensor firmware 2.x. If the app lists your sensor as older firmware, needs an update, it can't be paired until it's updated. Get in touch and we'll help.
